Oakfield Computer Services is happy to be affiliated to the companies below. Their products have been used either by Oakfield Computer Services or it's clients. Usually without problems, other than the occasional glitch of course.
Lighter load on the computer than most other antivirus programs, it comes in a variety of flavours ( with antispy protection, or a firewall, or a rootkit, or full Internet security) and prices.

Novatech have been around for more than 20 years with their HQ in Portsmouth and showrooms in Portishead and now Reading. Their website shows stock levels so ordering can be done with confidence. Delivery is usually a couple of days for stock items to your home (at a modest fee) or collect from the showroom at no additional charge.
The staff at Portishead are knowledgeable and helpful. Warranties are usually return to store with an extended "collect and return" warranty available for additional cost for the second year.
Their prices for hardware and software are good, but don't forget to add the cost of a monitor, speakers and operating system though. Many clients have been supplied with laptops, desktops and components and external hard drives and all have been happy with their purchases and Oakfield Computers installation too. Warranty claims haven't been tested yet and hopefully won't be, no failures so far.

Used since the 2004 version and found to be invaluable. it can help to make basic maintenance easier with it's Friday 5:15pm scheduled one-click maintenance. The 2008 version now includes a defragmenter which is fine but not in the same league as Raxco's PerfectDisk. Still very useful for an all-round package, Strongly recommended.
It's a great all-round product with more features than most will need.
A little word of caution, it includes a good registry editor. If you decide to edit the registry you do so at your own risk. get it wrong and Windows will never work again, requiring a complete reload of all the computer software.
PerfectDisk defragmenter used since 2007 version. It knocks the spots off any other defragmenter on the market.

Quite simply the best anti-spam product on the market. Used also as a webmail substitute for quick glances at e-mails.
It deals with the problems "out there" on the servers, so the rubbish is dealt with before you download your mails. Takes a bit of getting used to and training. An invaluable tool. Other mail and security products are also available from it's publishers, Firetrust.
